The Chinese probe Chang'e-4 has reached the hidden side of the Moon
Beijing on Thursday 3 January 2019 at 10.26 the China National Space Administration (CNSA) rover and lander Chang'e-4, the Chinese Space Agency, have touched the surface of the "dark side" of the Moon, what we can not see with our eyes because of the synchronous rotation with the Earth. It is a new, historic goal for space exploration.The Chinese Space Agency has also published the first spectacular image of the Von Karman crater where the Chang'e-4 rover / lander has settled down.
China: FAST, Five hundred meter Aperture Spherical Telescope
The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST; Chinese: 五百米口径球面射电望远镜), is a radio telescope located in the Dawodang depression a natural basin in Pingtang County, Guizhou Province, southwest China. It consists of a fixed 500 m (1,600 ft) diameter dish constructed in a natural depression in the landscape. It is the world's largest filled-aperture radio telescope.
